The room was brilliant and sumptuous and what's more - included a hair dryer, terry dressing gowns and shower caps. The breakfast deal was excellent with prosecco. The location was central, just next door to the restaurant, the Cotswolds and the pub itself, the food and the staff.

friendly and helpful staff. Good kitchen

our room was a little too small. Bathroom very messy. Occasional cooking smell in the room.

The design of the pub and the restaurant are very special. Individual, tasteful and simply "different". The dishes are excellent! In the winding rooms you feel like you are in a different time. The beer garden is beautiful and quiet! All in all a guarantee of wellbeing!

The rooms are very nice and clean, but also very small. It also takes getting used to the fact that there is no separate bathroom. The washbasin is located in the room. You can also enter the shower from your room.

    delicious breakfast
    cozy atmosphere
    pricey breakfast

We had a fantastic stay with an immaculately clean and spacious deluxe double room, and breakfast was delicious though a bit pricey. The cozy pub atmosphere with fairy lights added charm, making it quite special.

    comfortable room
    great amenities
    tight parking

Our stay was awesome, with a lovely room stocked up with hot chocolate and fresh milk for our tea! We enjoyed relaxing in the garden and watching TV in the cozy lounge. One minor hiccup was that the parking was a bit tight, but it didn't dampen our great time! ☕

Cozy atmosphere with a well-decorated dining room, complete with rustic beams and a warm fireplace. The expansive garden area provides a pleasant outdoor setting, perfect for a drink on a sunny afternoon.

The address is misleading. It's listed as being in a town close to tourist attractions, but it's actually a 10-minute drive away was good. The rooms feel a bit outdated, with noticeable peeling paint and tight spaces for storage, limiting comfort for longer stays. Parking also poses a challenge due to a steep slope and limited space, pushing guests to find street parking instead.

The food was amazing and reasonably priced, especially the braised beef-it was fenomenal! Plus, the snug bar area was a delight after a long day exploring Bourton-on-the-Water. The staff were genuinely friendly and made dining a pleasure.

    luxurious bathroom
    fantastic service
    worn carpet
    poor decor
    fading charm

The Beautiful King Room stood out with an very nice bathroom with a beautiful bath. The overall decor lacks attention, particularly in the upstairs corridors where carpets show significant wear and stains. While the staff provided excellent service and the menu options were diverse, it was like the charm might be fading due to management changes. Dining included homemade rolls.
